Marlone Ernest Brando Jr. (April 3, 1924 – July 1, 2004) was an American actor for 60 years, during which time he won two Academy Awards for Best Actor and three BAFTA Awards for Best Foreign Actor. He is considered one of the greatest and most powerful actors of 20th-century cinema.

Adele Laurie Blue Adkins (born 5 May 1988) is an English singer and songwriter. She is the world’s best-selling musician with over 120 million record sales. After graduating from the British School of Arts in 2006, Adele signed a documentary agreement with XL Recordings. In 2007, she won the Brit Award for Rising Star and won the BBC Voice in the 2008 poll. Her debut album, 19, was released in 2008. It is certified 8 Platinum in the UK and Trinity Platinum in the US.
Adele has won several time awards at the Grammy Awards, one of the most famous awards for female singers.  The award-winning Adele was emotional at the 2017 Grammys. Tears welled up in her eyes for a moment. At the end of a short speech, she said that the award should go to Beyoncé, not to her. She presented the award to Beyoncé. Beyoncé endured it with a smile on his face as usual.

Stephen Hawking is a great physicist in the United Kingdom who was born on 8th of January in 1942 and died on 14th March in 2008. Hawking, an Englishman, decline the knighthood in 1990. Hawking had said that he did not like the naming system like this because he did not like it.

Receiving the Nobel Prize is a great honor for scholars in all fields. The amount it receives is also quite large. But the French writer Sartre refused the Nobel Prize for Literature. Sartre, who questions the academy’s right to judge a writer, and also he had refused the French Awards for the same reason. However, after Sartre was nominated for that year’s award and he won it, Sartre had sent a letter refusing that award. but they did not have time to change the receiver at that time.

05. Celine Dion – The award refused 1991

Celine Marie Claude Dion (born 30 March 1968) is a Canadian singer. She is the best-selling Canadian recording artist in history and the best-selling French artist in history.

Celine Dion sings the song “My Heart Will Go Own” from the movie Titanic. She won the Best English Singer award at the Felix Awards. She was reluctant to accept the award as an English singer because Celine Dion is from Quebec, a community of French descent in Canada. She prefers to be called a Quebec singer rather than an English singer. However, Celine Dion refused the award and left the stage in the middle of the applause, saying that it would have been better if it was given to the best singer or the best Quebec singer.
