It’s surely only a matter of time until Daredevil season 4 becomes a reality – and here’s everything we know about the Disney+ revival so far.
In 2015, an unprecedented partnership between Marvel Television and Netflix introduced viewers to a different kind of Marvel superhero—a street-level vigilante who operated in a brutal and bloody world. Daredevil was a hit and blazed the trail for all the subsequent Marvel Netflix shows.
Marvel’s Daredevil ran for three seasons, releasing all the episodes on Netflix between 2015 to 2018. The hit series also spawned a handful of programs set in the same TV universe, which included The Defenders, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Punisher. Despite the highly-positive response and a pitch from the showrunner for a fourth season. But the series was canceled after its third season.

A New Daredevil Series Is in the Works at Disney Plus
Marvel Studios is moving forward on a new Daredevil series at Disney+, with Variety reporting Matt Corman and Chris Ord are attached to write and executive produce.
You know, there have been rumors for a long time that a Disney + series about Man without fear is in the works. The rumors were gradually confirmed when two stars of the Netflix “Daredevil” series – Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio – appeared on recent Marvel projects. Cox once again starred as Matt Murdock, Daredevil’s secret identity in “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, while D’Onofrio reprised the role of Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin’s character was reprised in the “Hawkeye”.

It now appears that the project is picking up steam with the hiring of Corman and Ord, although Marvel has yet to announce anything regarding the show formally.
Here’s everything you need to know about Daredevil Season 4.
Daredevil Season 4 Confirmation Status
On May 19, 2022, a new Daredevil TV series is confirmed to be in the works with Matt Corman and Chris Ord attached to write and executive produce it, Variety reports. Corman and Ord most famously co-created the USA Network show Cover Affairs, which aired for five seasons between 2010 and 2014.
Release Date
Since Disney and Marvel Studios haven’t officially shared many details about the upcoming Daredevil project. And also the show is apparently in a very early stage of production, with scriptwriters only just having been employed by Marvel Studios and Disney. Therefore it’s hard to predict any kind of release date. So don’t expect any Daredevil project until 2023.

Cast
So far, only Cox and D’Onofrio are confirmed to be reprising their Marvel Netflix roles in the MCU, and it’s unclear whether both will appear in Daredevil season 4. Marvel could potentially choose to differentiate their version by avoiding bringing these two titans together straight away, instead of continuing to develop Kingpin in other Disney+ shows such as Echo. Hopefully, it won’t be long before more cast members are confirmed. Another likely character to return at some point is Daredevil’s best friend and lawyer sidekick Foggy Nelson, played by Elden Henson. Although Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple would be an interesting return as well, as the character helped connect the various Marvel Netflix series and their various vigilantes.
Daredevil Season 4 Story
The end of Daredevil season 3 certainly left the show in an interesting place; it seemed to wrap up the Kingpin’s arc, and brought Matt Murdock’s life full circle, reuniting him with his friends Foggy Nelson and Karen Page. But the final scenes set up a new threat, with sociopathic FBI agent Dex Poindexter undergoing an experimental procedure to repair his broken back – and the camera panned in upon a bullseye in his eye, confirming he was morphing into classic Daredevil villain Bullseye. If Daredevil season 4 would be a continuation of the Marvel Netflix series, it could well build upon the classic villain.

However, there are other rumors too. According to them, Marvel and Disney are interested in rebooting the characters’ stories. That means they may not have had all of the same experiences as the Netflix characters even though their versions are similar.
However, no plot details have been officially confirmed. Therefore currently, it’s impossible to tell what a potential Daredevil continuation story would be about. So we’ll have to wait until Marvel Studios announce a specific project with Daredevil.
