Game Of Thrones Actors Who Joined Marvel & DCEU

Game of Thrones, Marvel Cinematic Universe, and DC Extended Universe have their own huge fan base around the world. You all know the Game of Thrones Tv Series is over now. However, HBO has confirmed that there will be a new sequel to Game of Thrones called House of the Dragon. They are also discussing several other sequels. We are not talking about them here anyway. Here we are going to talk about some of the Game Of Thrones actors who joined Marvel and DCEU.

It’s no surprise that the cast of Game of Thrones has appeared in other major franchises, with one of the largest and most remarkable ensembles in television history. Even though several of these actors were relatively unknown before they joined the series, Game of Thrones’ incredible success has made them sought-after talent in Hollywood.

As if one massively successful franchise wasn’t enough, many of the actors from Game of Thrones have made their way into the MCU and the DCEU. Whether it’s roles fans have already seen or upcoming roles, these actors are traveling from the world of Westeros to the world of superheroes.

10. Pilou Asbæk (Euron Greyjoy) – Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom

Pilou Asbæk is a late addition to Game of Thrones. He appeared as Euron Greyjoy from the 6th season. Eventually, he became one of the main villains of the show’s final season. His Euron character received a mixed response from fans. Some saw him as a fun villain, while others saw him as a fool.

After playing as a miserable pirate in Game of Thrones, Asbæk is set to return to the ocean for the upcoming Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom movie. Asbæk is the only confirmed new cast member for Aquaman 2, but it is not yet clear who he is currently playing for.

09. Michael McElhatton (Roose Bolton) – Justice League

Michael McElhatton’s performance as Roose Bolton is more than just a few of the colorful villains on the show. Rose stabs Robb Stark in the heart at Red Wedding. And with that, he portrayed Roose as a cold, calm, and calculating man who will be remembered forever.

McElhatton is clearly very good at playing villains and he continued to do this with his short but memorable role in Justice League. At the beginning of the film, he plays the leader of the terrorist group that Wonder Woman thwarts.

08. Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell) – Wonder Woman 1984

Although he has starred in a number of major projects of all kinds, Pedro Pascal’s breakthrough role was in the 4th season of Game of Thrones character, anti-hero, Oberyn Martell. He lasted only one season and was a fun and new addition with a very memorable exit from the Oberyn show.

Pascal later played the villainous Max Lord in the Wonder Woman1984 film. He was a struggling businessman who obtained a magic stone to fulfill his desires. While he is the villain in the film, there are many times when Pascal appeared as the leading actor of the film.

07. Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell) – Captain America: The First Avenger

When Margaery Tyrell was introduced in the second season of Game of Thrones, she instantly became an attractive character. Natalie Dormer is great at portraying her as someone who can be somewhat sympathetic, caring, and kind with her ambitions.

Dormer is unique in being the only actor of these to have appeared on MCU before joining Game of Thrones. She appeared as Col.Phillips’ assistant in Captain America: The First Avenger, who expresses a romantic interest in Steve Rogers.

06. Ciarán Hinds (Mance Rayder) – Justice League

Ciarán Hinds joined Game of Thrones in the third season of the show as Mance Rayder. He was once a member of Night Watch. Mance then left to join the Wildlings and eventually launched an attack on Wall. And also he was crowned king beyond the wall.

Hinds portrayed another powerful leader of an attacking army in Justice League, but one who was far less sympathetic. Hinds provided the voice for the evil who battled the classic heroes as Steppenwolf. Despite not being a good villain selection, Steppenwolf was improved in Zack Snyder’s Justice League thanks to a variety of adjustments.

05. Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) – Avengers: Infinity War

Tyrion Lannister stood out as one of the fan-favorite characters in Game of Thrones. This was largely due to Peter Dinklage’s stunning Emmy-winning performance. He made Tyrion one of the best political players in the Game of Thrones.

Richard Madden becomes a standout hero and gets the chance to get his role as Ikaris, the lesser-known Marvel character in Eternals. The film explores the emergence of powerful creatures that have been living in the MCU for centuries.

03. Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) – Secret Invasion

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen was responsible for some of the biggest and best moments of Game of Thrones. She was one of the most controversial elements of the Game of Thrones finale. Because Daenerys had become a villain.

Emilia Clarke is all set to return to television with Secret Invasion, one of MCU’s upcoming Disney + shows. Clarke, along with MCU actors Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn will star in the series about the shape-changing Skrulls invasion.

02. Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) – Aquaman

Khal Drogo was introduced in the first season as one of the most intimidating men in the series. Audiences rarely saw his action, but they loved that character because of Jason Momoa’s powerful presence.

When he became the Aquaman at DCEU, Momoa definitely took the opportunity to show off some of the action scenes. His character was introduced in Batman Vs Superman. And gave his first appearance in the Justice League. Momoa really shines as Aquaman in his first entertaining solo film.

If there was a main character in Game of Thrones, it would be hard to argue that it was John Snow. Kit Harrington actually grew up as an actor because the character became more important to the story and became a more interesting hero. Although not everyone is a fan of his final story, John Snow is a truly iconic character.

Kit Harrington is another special Game Of Thrones Actors Who Joined Marvel. Harrington reunites with Richard Madden of Eternals. Harrington played Dane Whitman in Eternals movie. It’s a character who becomes a black knight like John Snow in the comics, which means that Harrington has a bright future at MCU.
