In 2019, Amazon Prime Video put out a series called “Good Omens.” It’s based on a book by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett called “Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch.” The story is about two pals, an angel named Aziraphale (played by Michael Sheen) and a demon named Crowley (played by David Tennant). They enjoy their time on Earth and actively work to prevent Armageddon, the final battle between heaven and hell, from destroying the world.
In mid-2020, Neil Gaiman released a mini-episode called Good Omens: Lockdown. Initially, the show was promoted as a limited series. However, in 2021, Amazon surprised fans by renewing Good Omens for another season, with Neil Gaiman returning as one of the co-showrunners.
Is season 2 happening?
Fans of the popular supernatural series have been eagerly waiting for season 2 since Prime Video announced its renewal in June 2021. Show creator Neil Gaiman recently provided an update on the new season’s progress, revealing that filming was completed in March 2022. The team has been working diligently on post-production, and it looks like their efforts are paying off. The trailer for the upcoming season is expected to be released soon, and the show is set to premiere in the Summer. Excitement is building as everything comes together for the highly anticipated return of Good Omens.
What to Expect From Season 2
Good Omens is an exciting series that revolves around two supernatural beings, Aziraphale (the angel) and Crowley (the demon), who team up to stop the apocalypse. The antichrist, a baby, poses a threat to the world’s balance, but Aziraphale and Crowley are unaware that the real child has been switched at birth. As ancient prophecies start coming true and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse draw near, both Heaven and Hell prepare for a final showdown. The fate of the world hangs in the balance as the thrilling story unfolds.
