Harry Potter: the Cursed Child, It has been over ten years since the last Harry Potter movie enchanted fans worldwide. Since then, Warner Bros. made a few spin-offs like the Fantastic Beasts movies. Sadly, the last film in that series didn’t do well at the box office, making the future of the planned five-part movie series uncertain.

Anyway, Warner Bros. is planning to finance a new Harry Potter project that the CEO, David Zaslav, believes will make a lot of money. Despite the controversies surrounding author J.K. Rowling, Zaslav continues to support her. In fact, a well-known leaker called WDW Pro disclosed that the studio plans to reboot the franchise with an entirely new set of actors.

Warner Bros. Set to Adapt Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for the Big Screen

In addition to the rumored remake of the original Harry Potter films, there are also plans to turn the play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” into a movie. This play first premiered in London’s West End in 2016 and tells the story of the adventures of Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy’s sons, Albus and Scorpius.

Warner Bros. has the rights to “The Cursed Child” stage play, so there’s a high chance that they will move forward with making it into a movie.The main actors like Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint will be about the same age as their characters in the next five years. This could add even more excitement to the project for fans.

According to a report from The Sun, Warner Bros. intends to turn “The Cursed Child” into a movie. The play was a big success and well-liked by fans when it premiered in London’s West End. The movie project was temporarily set aside because the studio was busy working on the “Fantastic Beasts” films.

Harry Potter Original Cast Is Open To Return To The Wizarding World

According to a source from Giant Freakin Robot, Emma Watson is open to returning as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter universe. However, she expressed a condition that she would only consider it if J.K. Rowling is not involved in the project.
