Margot Robbie is about to embark on the next chapter of her Pirates of the Caribbean journey. Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed that Margot Robbie would replace Johnny Depp in the lead role of the beloved Disney franchise.
While there is still a script that includes Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow, it appears that Disney will go in a different direction for Pirates of the Caribbean 6, allowing Robbie to take over as the lead protagonist for the next film instalment.
Robbie, on the other hand, has been filming another major blockbuster over the last few months.
Robbie will reportedly take the next steps in preparing for her role in Pirates now that production on Barbie has concluded. It hasn’t been confirmed when filming for the next instalment of the franchise will begin, as casting is still ongoing and final touches are being made to the script, but it wouldn’t be surprising if production began early next year as Disney looks to move forward with its popular franchise.

Personally I would watch the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie just to see what they have done with it , but to be brutally honest without Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow I really can’t see how it could work and I think the franchise should bow out gracefully
