Daredevil on Netflix
All episodes of the first season were released on Netflix on April 10, 2015. Then, the second season was released in its entirety on March 18, 2016. With those two seasons, Netflix received a lot of positive reviews. In July 2016, the series was updated for the third season, and it was released on October 19, 2018. However, on November 29, 2018, Netflix canceled the Daredevil series. Now in 2021, Cox has announced that he would like to repeat his role in MCU products in the future.
From 2015 to 2018, Cox starred as Matt Murdock (Daredevil) throughout the admirable series Marvel’s Daredevil, a Marvel television production that aired three seasons on Netflix.

Deborah Ann Woll had cast as Karen Page. Elden Henson had cast as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson. And also, Toby Leonard Moore had cast as James Wesley. In addition, the series also starred Vondie Curtis-Hall, Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Jon Bernthal (Punisher).
Will Charlie Cox be Marvel’s Daredevil ?
As we mentioned earlier, Netflix canceled the entire lineup of its Marvel shows years ago. Especially in November 2018 when Daredevil was canceled. According to reports, a clause in the Netflix agreement with Marvel included clauses on shows that the rights to all characters would remain with Netflix. However, Marvel and Disney could have reclaimed ownership of the Daredevil a year ago.
Since the cancellation of the Netflix Daredevil, many fans have expressed their desire to see the show revived in some way or another. At least see Cox recreating his role as Daredevil in future Marvel projects. In fact, Cox’s Daredevil has been the subject of many rumors over the past year or so. Also, there were some reports saying that Cox will be appearing in the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home. Then, others say he has a role in Marvel Studios Disney+ original series like Echo and She-Hulk. Last month, it was reported that Marvel Studios was, in fact, developing their own Daredevil project. That being said, it is not clear whether the alleged project is a TV series or a feature film.
