Fisher spent 18 months conducting his own investigations and investigations into the zodiac killings. The film was controversial for its portrayal of immorality, lack of sympathy for victims, explicit sexual content, obscene language, and the use of animals in production. Catch Me If You Can 2002 is an American biopic crime film written and directed by Steven Spielberg and scripted by Jeff Nathanson. The film stars DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Walken, Martin Sheen and Nathalie Baye. This film was based on the biography of Frank Abagnale, who, before his 19th birthday, appeared as a Pan American World Airways pilot, a Georgian doctor, and a Louisiana church lawyer who successfully performed millions of dollars in disadvantages. The veracity of his story is doubtful.

Development for the film began in the 1980s, but lasted until 1997, when Spartanburg DreamWorks acquired the film rights to Abagnale’s 1980 book of the same name. Prior to directing Swilberg himself, David Fincher, Gore Verbinski, Lasse Hallström, Miloš Forman and Cameron Crow intended to direct the film.
