Luke Hemsworth Boards Prime Video Prequel Series ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’

Luke Hemsworth, known for his role in “Westworld,” will have a recurring part in the upcoming Prime Video series “The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.” He joins the previously announced cast members Taylor Kitsch, Tom Hopper, and Chris Pratt.

Hemsworth will play the role of Jules Landry, a CIA contractor with a self-absorbed demeanor who conceals a potentially dangerous temperament beneath his strong physique.

Co-created by Jack Carr, the author of The Terminal List, and David DiGilio, who was the creator and showrunner for Season 1, the prequel takes place five years prior to the main series. It’s an intense espionage thriller that follows Ben Edwards’ transformation from a Navy SEAL to a CIA paramilitary operator. It delves into the gritty realities of warfare and the personal toll it exacts. The show centers on the mysterious Special Operator Ben Edwards, played by Taylor Kitsch.

Alongside his starring role, Taylor Kitsch also serves as an executive producer, along with Chris Pratt, Antoine Fuqua, Kat Samick, Jack Carr, David DiGilio, Frederick E.O. Toye, Max Adams, and Jared Shaw. The show is produced by Amazon Studios in collaboration with MRC Television/Civic Center Media.

Last year, Prime Video also announced that The Terminal List would be renewed for a second season, adapting Jack Carr’s best-selling novel, True Believer.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf: Originally from Australia, Hemsworth is known for his role as Ashley Stubbs in the HBO series Westworld, spanning four seasons. His upcoming projects include the film Land of Bad, where he serves as an executive producer and stars alongside Russell Crowe, Liam Hemsworth, and Milo Ventimiglia.

In 2022, Hemsworth starred in the feature film Ocean Boy, which garnered attention at festivals worldwide and earned the Grand Jury Award at the Mammoth Film Festival. He also had roles in the series Young Rock, executive produced by Dwayne Johnson, and Taika Waititi’s latest film, Next Goal Wins. Additionally, he made cameo appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder.

Hemsworth is represented by CAA, Fourward, and Greenberg Glusker.
