Macaulay Culkin Honored with star on Hollywood Walk of Frame

At the age of 43, Culkin gained fame in the 1990s by playing the role of young Kevin McCallister in “Home Alone” and its sequel, “Home Alone 2: Lost In New York.”

During Friday’s ceremony, he not only received recognition for his contributions to Hollywood but also had a reunion with his mother, actress Catherine O’Hara, who appeared alongside him in the films.

“Thank you for including me, your fake mom who left you home alone not once, but twice, to share in this happy occasion,” O’Hara expressed, as reported by CNN. “I’m so proud of you.”

In an emotional moment, Culkin expressed gratitude to O’Hara for participating in the ceremony and also thanked his representatives for their guidance throughout his career since childhood.

The 43-year-old also took a moment to personally acknowledge his fiancée, actress Brenda Song, who was present at the ceremony along with their two young sons, as reported by multiple sources.

“You’re the best person I’ve ever known,” Culkin expressed, as quoted by the New York Post. “After the birth of our two boys, you’ve become one of my three favorite people.”

According to reports, the actor concluded his speech with an iconic line from ‘Home Alone,’ saying, “Merry Christmas, you filthy animals.”

Culkin has appeared in various films throughout his career, including “Party Monster,” “My Girl,” and “Richie Rich.”

His star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is the 2,765th.
