Bradley Cooper would do ‘The Hangover 4’ In an ‘Instant’

Bradley Cooper is willing to return as Phil in another “Hangover” movie.

Hangover 4: During a recent episode of “The New Yorker Radio Hour” podcast, Bradley Cooper discussed his directorial projects like “A Star Is Born” and “Maestro,” as well as his shift towards more dramatic roles. Host David Remnick asked him, “Are you done with fun? In other words, if another light-hearted comic role came along, not necessarily ‘Hangover 5’ but something with a similar vibe, would you consider it?”

“Well, I would do ‘Hangover 5,'” Cooper replied. “It would be ‘Hangover 4’ first, but yeah,” he added with a laugh.

“Absolutely, not just to pay the bills,” Cooper affirmed.

“I would probably do ‘Hangover 4’ in an instant,” Cooper stated. “Just because I love Todd [Phillips], I love Zach [Galifianakis], I love Ed [Helms] so much, I probably would.”

When questioned about the possibility of a fourth “Hangover” film, Cooper remarked, “I don’t think Todd’s ever going to do that.”

Cooper appeared in the 2009 film “The Hangover” alongside Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha, and Ken Jeong. This original raunchy comedy led to two sequels: 2011’s “The Hangover Part II” and 2013’s “The Hangover Part III.”

Cooper mentioned that although he hasn’t taken on traditionally comedic roles recently, he’s still enjoying himself on his latest projects. He doesn’t feel drained by these weightier films, as some might find them exhausting.

“There’s nothing more enjoyable that I’ve experienced than ‘Maestro’ and ‘A Star is Born,'” he remarked. “I wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t.”
